In summer, rain brings us cool and refreshing in hot days, however, when rainfall drips from leaky window, rooms will suffer from wet. So how do we check and maintain our aluminium window extrusion and dry out the room? Here are some tips.
1.Different windows have different leakage
Aluminium casement window has better air-tightness, less water leaking; because sliding window aluminium frame has leaks and sliding tracks to ensure smooth sliding and convenience, as a result, when encounter heavy rains, windows may leak water.
2.Between aluminium window sashes and glasses, glass glue may have leaks from time to time, daily fair and tear. Always keep that in mind and glue the leak.
3.Check the aluminium window sill, if the sill is downslope from inside to outside, it may help rains flow out. If that is flat, it may stash rainfalls.
4.Always check the water leaking wholes, water wholes may leak rainfall where stash inside the tracks. Otherwise, without those whole, water may seep into the room through the frames.
5.If water leak still happen, the problem may be walls. Applying water resistance paints to interior surfaces may solve the problems.
