Transport needs aluminium pallet, and aluminium relies on transport. Therefore, the development of transport stimulates the development of aluminium pallets. Pallets were first appeared in Australia and used for transport of military supports in the State. It played an essential role in transport when it came to China in the 1970s. People knew that wooden pallets had more than 100 years of history. And it is still widely in use nowadays.
However, the wooden pallets have the drawbacks of moth-eaten, mildewed. It is not suitable for certain business such as food, pharmacy that has a high standard of hygiene. So the plastic pallet had been invented. It’s clean, stain resistance, firm, wider range of applications. However, plastic pallets are unfast dyeing, becoming fragile as time goes by, can’t withstand extreme temperature that has limits in many businesses. Then the metal pallets were invented. Stainless steel has first appeared. It is clean, bearing heavy loads, little temperature effects. It is also suitable for refrigeration storage and high-temperature environment and iron steel objects transferring.
But stainless steel pallet has the drawbacks of heavy and hard to transfer.
As a solution, aluminium pallets were invented. Aluminium alloy is one-third density of iron steel which means that 1/3 of weight while size is equal. Aluminium pallets also have a heavy load-bearing up to 3 tons each, although is light, some special aluminium pallet has a maximum bearing load of 6 tons.
Aluminium pallet does not require surface treatment. After anodizing, it’s abrasive resistance and corrosion resistance with an artistic silver surface. Also, aluminium pallets can withstand extreme temperature, moth resists, clean and hygiene, suitable for every business. Aluminium pallet has absolute advantages comparing with iron steel, wooden and plastic pallets.
